      Japanese Badges for review

      Hello Forum Members,
Here are some recent purchases, that I am considering keeping in my collection. I have identified the 3 badges, but the one in this post, I can not find in any books, can I confirm that this is a "WW2 JAPANESE IMPERIAL GUARD INSPECTION BADGE BY EMPEROR HIROHITO" in 1939.
And I would appreciate more opinions on all 4 pieces.
      Thanks, Jack
I can add a closer look of the backside of this Imperial Guard Badge

No one else has seen this badge. It looks authentic. But I would like to indentify it. Thanks Jack

            The front says:

Ko-A Senshou no Haru [or Shun]

Spring of Asian Development War Victory

Or something like that! Too much stuff on the reverse for me to attempt.

              Here's the reverse:

              大元帥陛下親臨
Imperial Visit of His Majesty the Commander-in-Chief

              陸軍始観兵式
              Innaugural Army Military Review

              昭和十六年一月八日
              Shouwa 16 Year (1941), January 8th

              於代々本錬場
At the Hereditary Main Training Grounds

I look to Taka-san and others to correct my errors.

於代々木練兵場 is what the bottom words say. That is Yoyogi Training Grounds.

Thanks Guys, I will print all this stuff up. This might be the latest High Quality Badge of this type that I have ever seen. And probably not too many of them were made ??? This might explain why it is not in any of my books. And I have all of the books that I know of that are available on this subject.
What are your opinions on the badges especially the one that you guys translated.
Do you think it is rare ??
Regardless I like it and think I am going to add it to my collection.
I thank all of you for the help, I never expected a full translation. Pieces like this get tough to figure out, I actually got 1939 from the seller. I am more pleased it is a 1941 piece.

                    It is 1939, not 1941.

Thanks Nick! I see now it is 14, not 16.

                      Ahhhh .... Yoyogi! I read it as dai-dai & hon/moto -- "my bad"!

                      Cheers and thanks!

                        Jack,

Yoyogi Training Grounds is now Yoyogi Park.

"...Located in Harajuku and Aoyama, Yoyogi Park is one of Tokyo's largest. The area was once a training ground for Japan's imperial army...."

                          Badges

Guy, It looks like a place where I would fit right in.
What is your opinion of the badge, do you think it is rare ?
Does anyone think it is rare ? Or is rare a matter of opinion.
I ask, becuase I have several books and I went through all of them
Page By Page. I know the condition of the front is clean.
And the others, I must assume that they are right. or someone
would of let me know. But I do not like to assume anything.
This is the first time I have owned a shooting Badge 2nd Class.
Do you ever see the first class badges for sale. I would like to have
                          all 3 of them.
Thanks to everyone for the translations, I DO REALLY APPRECIATE it.
I really did not expect a full translation. but now tht I have it, it will stay with
the piece for ever and a day.
                          Jack

                            Hi Jack,

I'm not a collector, so I cannot tell if it is rare or not. Sorry. I guess since no one else has opined one way or the other, they've not seen one either.

I did a google image search in Japanese but didn't see the badge.

                            Sorry!

Well Guy, I thank you for your time and I enjoyed your pcitures. I really think if I was on Tokyo that would be where I would would to hang.
