      Hi Chen-san,

      How are you sir?

Is that really a midget sub?

Looks like there are few bullet rounds fired behind it.

Also, I can see a torpedo trace directly in font of the mini-sub.

      Very interesting~

      Regards,
      Taka

This subject came up before -- but I cannot remember if it was this forum or another. And I cannot remember what the conclusion was. I have some memory that others did not think it was a mini-sub. Some said the spray was from the propeller, others said from bullets.

          Taka,
I watched a documentary yesterday saying 5 mini subs were used to attack Pearl harbor at same time beside aerial attack.
After the war, 4 were found and the last one was found recently lying just outside the harbor. Tthe torpedo tube cover was opened.
US experts analysis that this kind of sub ,after firing the torpedo, needs to raise the rear end of the sub to expel the air in order to stabilize the sub.
I can not remember the explanation given in the documentary of why 3 blasts of water, one bigger than each other.
Yes, no.4 is the torpedo's trace in the water.

Now that's new. About a Sub entered the Harbor !?

However the location were the Midget sub was found (above photos) was the one sunk before the attack by the U.S.S. Ward.

Ironically, U.S.S Ward was sunk by Tokko attack (Kamikaze) on December 7th,1944.

                        regards,
                        Taka

                          Taka,
                          You are right.
The sunk sub was 1 of the 5.
The documentary raises the question " Where is the fifth in the aerial photo?"
