Faster than me too!!! .... but he's in a different timezone!!

Musing on the given name Takematsu [Bamboo Pine]
            竹松 - Takematsu

It suddenly struck me as funny .... if you use the on-yomi ("Sound-reading" based on Chinese), his surname COULD be pronounced ...

            ChikuShou
            畜生

ChikuShou !!! ["what you shout when you hit your thumb with the hammer"]
It literally means "Beast!" but also has the implication of "Son of a B*tch!", ... especially if you say "chikushou-me!" 畜生目

            Back to the name:

Pine - Bamboo - Plum (shou-chiku-bai) are three plants that flourish in winter, as such, you will see them around the New Year celebration. I wonder if he was born in winter?

By the way [more trivia], there is even a California-brewed sake called Shou-Chiku-Bai

Nice cap! Enlisted model far more scarce than common officers. Finding one named is tough!

So for clarification, does Daishi inspected mean "Inspected at the Osaka branch" or is there something else to this portion of the stamp?

                          Thanks!
