    Hi Gunto,

The towel is taken back side.

    A non-military related.

    Translations:

箱根温泉 (Hakone Onsenn) - Hakone (Place in Nara) Hot springs. One of the famous locations of hot springs in Japan.

奈良旅館 (Nara Ryokann) - Nara (Japan prefecture) Ryokan (Inn)

    Best regards,
    Taka

This is probably either the equivalent of a hotel towel at the onsen place or something they'd give you for staying OR something at the gift shop.
Anchor probably has no special meaning, if one thinks about it many things have the anchor on it without real meaning when it comes to civilian objects.

          No, problem Gunto.

I think the anchor stamp with a circle is a company logo.

(No, not the Anchor Brand from the U.S.)

          Best regards,
          Taka
