Help with date on Trousers

Hello, everyone, can anyone read the date on my Japanese trousers? I see they are marked '43', could this be the date? I didnt think the Japanese used the western dating system. Thanks, Douglas

That's a Type 3 Trousers 三式 　(San Siki)

1945 made. 昭和貳十年製　(Shouwa Nijyuu Nen Sei)

Size Medium 中號 (Chyuu Gou)

The bottom stamp is for delivery of goods.
