    An Interesting Japanese Flag

    I had not seen one of these before, hand sewn white and deep blue wool. I found it listed as Navigation Control Commander used between 1942-1945. Does anyone have a clue as to what a Navigation Control Commander is?

    I believe that that is the officer who is in command of controling navigation.
