Japanese Flags

I got these flags from a friend. He stated that the small flags were used on IJN officers tables. They appear to be a very fine soft silk material.

They measure approx. 11" x 8"

Anyone have any idea on these items or what they might even be worth? I can't seem to find anything online in regards to them.

They were used in parades and such for people and soldiers to wave. They aren't worth a whole lot, perhaps $10.00 or $15.00 I'd guess. Here is an old salty navy one I have.

Edited: I just realized your flags are about twice the size of the one pictured here. I would still think they are parade flags, but quite possible your friend was right. Maybe $25.00 or $30.00? Just a guess.

BTW, I don't think an IJA flag would be at an IJN Officer's table. The one I posted is IJN, with the meatball off-set to the left instead of centered like yours (IJA).
