    Grenade fuse markings

    Hello everyone,
I have a Japanese Type 97 grenade for sale in the E-stand section. I was wondering what the markings on the fuse body mean? Can anyone read it? Is it a time delay number? Or a factory location, or possible date? I have seen other threads where fuses are marked with a time or a factory.

Reads "4 -- 5 seconds" from top to bottom. This is the expected delay prior to detonation. The character for four is obscured.
