can any of you guys translate the engraving , the blade is seki stamped and i know that this sort of chippy engraving is found on non traditional swords

looks like (cant tell for sure that far away), the date is showa ju shichi.or 1942 need closer look to tell...has seki stamp and smith starts with Kane..again cant see the last kanji to tell you for sure
