I wanted to post a couple of my new purchases. The first is my 1000 stitch belt. I have yet to get the kanji translated (which will happen eventually). It has a coin sewn on the back.

Here is the flag. It appears to be stained yellow and I'm not sure why. I really have no clue. Any guesses? Iodine? There appears to be some blood on it.
It was taken from a dead Japanese soldier by a soldier from the 13th Mountain Medical Bn. in Burma.
