I am in the process of trying to learn and gather information regarding the Yokosuka Naval Air Station that was on the Naval base there from 1944-1945.
Ive searched the entire web just abouts and have come up with very little besides that the Yokosuka Naval Base was bomsbed in 1942 by the Doolittle bombers.
What id like to specifically know is between 1944-45,
how many pilots were sent there?
were kamakazi missions sent from this base?
and of course id like to know anything else regarding what the pilots expreience was like with this base from 1944 to 1945.
