Help with Badge

Does anyone know anything about these badges? Are the assertions made by the seller correct? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Zach

Never saw one before. I'd be cautious regarding sellers story.

Thanks, I've never heard of anything like it either. The "badge" doesn't look like 1940's for one thing. Further, I can't imagine the Japanese going to all this trouble for internees or the like, maybe a collaborator badge at most...but again I seriously doubt it. Don't the Danes spell Denmark, Danmark? I don't know what this is.
