From the kanji on the photobook, I believe that it is for the Shiga Unit. This unit took part in the invasion of Xiamen, an island of the coast of China (Taiwan?) Anyway, does anyone know if this unit came out of the Sasebo area? What number designation within the SNLF would the Shiga unit be a part of? Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
