EARLY NLF field cap - restored.
Hello,
Here's an early brown wool NLF cap I'm in the process of restoring. The front insignia was removed some time ago, but the oval stitching partly remained. The hat & insignia are original NLF. The insignia was acquired with a few other NLF ovals and this one was the right color and size. The thread is old and comprised of heavy white cotton.

Hello,
Here's the near final version of the restored early NLF cap. The c/s and bottons were taken from an early IJN cap and hopefully they are correct for this resto. I am seeking a standard, early field cap liner and already have an early NLF f.c. tag.
