On ebay now the Chinese sword fakers based in Shanghai are now hiding the identity of their bidders so you cant tell them that the item they are bidding on are fake . But any way If you tell someone their item is fake ebay will suspend your account. To all newbies, never buy Japanese swords from China.

I will try to get some pics of the locals. I first saw it on the news here. I don't think the company is trying to decive. It is what happens when they go to the wrong person. I have seen the chinese fakes. They are really quite pathetic. I guess its just people who on a whem want a "real" sword. They go to e-bay who DOES NOT CARE and are taken. You can never just buy one so when they start digging they will realize but it will be to late by then. Good feedback will be left for the next person to see that does not know any better.
Thanks, Scott, AR

Why are some people buying real crappy fakes? Thier was a really nice ornamental sword that was labeled as a Japanese sword. It was a Sharkskin handle and scabbard. Why are some collectors falling for these, they arent even arsenal marked and all swords were arsenal marked. WARNING TO ALL NEWBIES DO NOT BUY JAPANESE SWORDS FROM CHINA. DO YOUR HOME WORK BEFORE BUYING A SWORD. Caps is for emphasis.
