    1000 Stitch Items

    I wanted to see if anyone had any unusual 1000 Stitch Items in their collection from which they could provide feedback here? I have seen stitch belts, stitch caps, stitch vests, stitch flags, stitch scarves, stitch headbands, and stitch handkerchiefs. Mike

    There is an interesting original photo of a soldier with a flag on his rifle on ebay.....didn't know if you saw it or not.

      Hello John-
      Thanks for the lead. That photo ended on e-Bay today. For those who did not see it, the photo John mentions is a great vintage shot of a Japanese soldier with his Good Luck flag tied to his rifle. Mike

        1000 Stitch Items...

        As long as we are talking about flags on rifles, I wanted to show another flag tied to a rifle. This cup has a small chip on the rim, but cups with yosegaki hinomaru are relatively rare. The cup came with its box..... Mike

          1000 Stitch Items...

          Last image of cup. Across the top of the flag is the slogan BUUN CHOKYU. The right side of the flag says, Muteki Kogun (Undefeatable Imperial Army.) The left side of the flag, below the sun reads, Daishori (Great Victory.) To the left of the sun the characters say, Dainihonteikoke Banzai (Banzai for the Greater Imperial Nation or Japan.) Mike
