Gulf war 1 Iraqi para beret

Good morning gentlemen,
I have recently acquired this beret from an old collection , it matches other examples with markings and the cap badge is worn and either cast or diestruck, I have not removed the badge .

Very nice Iraqi airborne beret.

It looks to be Desert Storm era based on the beret markings.

Definitely a legit piece. These are believed to be French made. Definitely a nice piece.

with a writen message stating it was brought back from the first gulf war!

Definitely a gulf war piece. These are the early pre sanctions berets. They're really high quality. I have one just like this but in an OD green color (with the regular eagle), the OD ones were logistics. I've seen these particular styles in OD, dark green, and maroon.
