Ribbon Fest Day
Today a new one (actually 18th) arrived and it came with a piece of a rotten ribbon. I loved the aged look of it and decide to take out all ribbons I have for a parade, hope you enjoy.

This one a BB&Co. the most common yet an unknown maker. You can find them everywhere but still I like the details on it, I believe there is a silver and a bronze version of it. I have them both. I hope one day we will find who and where the maker was.Comment

This is my first ever Non-Combatant Turkish War Medal ribbon bar. I could not wait to get my hands on it to make my own photos, but will do when I receive it.
A three piece, EKII, Non-Com TWM and Hindy ribbon bar for your review. Any ideas how can the TWM is Non-Com but Hindy is a front fighter with swords?Comment

The 3 place noncombatant TWM ribbon bar and the TWM pin arrived, the bar is 6 cm long, one cm longer than any other of my 3 place ribbon bars, love it!
Bar has great features like the stitching detail in the back and double ribbon wrapping (I have no idea what that is called when you use double layers of ribbon). I wonder if there is a regulation name for that style.

Thank you Starikurac, you are right this is somehow about collecting the heritage for me. My great great father fought at Gallipoli and later in Galicia Front as an artillery officer and I feel as a responsibility to find more and learn about the campaigns and medals he had during his painful years at battlefields.
This is a photo of him standing in front of the Catholic Church is Calarasi, Romania dated 1917. The building on the back with German and Turkish Flags hoisted must have been he HQ. I have found the exact location, surprisingly the church İs still there today.
