I have been lucky with finding TWM portraits this month. Here is another one with a veteran Luftwaffe officer flashing his Turkish medal. I think this photo was taken around the southern front since his breast eagle is sewn on the pocket flap.

Thanks to Theodor from the Bulgarian Awards thread, the Bulgarian officer is named now. He is Colonel M. Andreev.

Also written the back of the card:
"To my good friend Dr Dimov, with whom we spent good and bad days in the war in 1915, 1916 and 1917. Colonel M. Andreev. To: Medic Colonel Dr Dimov, 11 ?? Sanitary Unit at the Staff of the 3rd Army".

Another piece from tonight's hunting. An EK2 document dated at the last day of the war for the Ottoman Empire with the facsimile signature of General Liman von Sanders. This is my third document signed by him but also the first with the blue Militar Mission Konstantinopel stamp which I have not seen before. Any translation with the name and his unit would be appreciated.

And Don, yes I officially ran out of display space, now adding two more shelves to the display cabinet and spreading to picture frames on the wall around it! (:

Ten more new pieces on the way, will be updating when they surface from the lousy Turkish postal service!
