    Fascist Pinback cross Italy, Vichy?

    dear forumites,

    does anybody know something abbout this Fascist Pinback Cross (Size of an EK1)?

    I guess it could be italian.

        Hallo haynau!

        It's a greek item. The emblem depicted on the cross is the one of EON (National Youth Organization), a minoan double axe surrounded by laurels, under the royal family crown. EON was formed after the coup of August 4, 1936, in the standards of the fascist Balilla and the nazi HJ.

        I haven't seen such an item before so I can't comment on its authenticity except maybe the fact that from the photos its cut looks like it has the characteristics of other period medals, concerning its construction.
