Hello All,
A Canadian historian of 403 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force is attempting to track the family of Flt-Sgt C.E. MacDonald. MacDonald was an American citizen who flew Spitfires with the RCAF. He is unusual in that he was the only Royal Canadian Air Force NCO to win the Military Medal - an Army decoration. This was awarded for a successful escape after being shotdown. Apparently MacDonald was killed in the mid-50s in an air crash near Boston, remaining with his aircraft as he attempted to steer it away from a school and residential area.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Mike
