Some more information. I was in a hurry when I posted this so I forgot to include extra info.

The medal was given to a Dutch Resistence men. He helped French and Belgium POW's to escape and to cross the border between Holland and Belgium. He also helped jews and British downed pilots.

The medal is framed so that I can not see the back.
