Strange Cap Badges

Two cap (I think) badges I picked up not long ago. This first one is evidently Malaysian. It's made of some kind of lightweight white metal, perhaps aluminium. The front of the badge is silvered.

The top of the badge reads: "National Service", around the circular portion it reads: "Jawatan Perkhidmatan". The bottom reads "Home Guard".

Any thoughts on who would have worn this, and when? Is it common, rare or what? Value?

FMSVF Badge

This second one is obviously pre-WWII in origin. It's made of aluminum as far as I can tell.

The badge has a sort of crown at the top, a coat of arms in the centre, and around the circular portion reads: "Federated Malay States VF"

The FMSVF was a volunteer force formed of both British and Malay troops, they saw action during the Malaya Campaign 1941-42 versus the Japanese. The entire force was either killed or captured at the capitulation of Singapore in February 1942.

I have never encountered a badge like this before, does anyone know which unit(s) in particular might have worn this? Any other Malayan badges for comparison?
