French 3 star General

Here is a nice French 1906 pattern tunic for a 3 star general who saw action throughout the war as indicated by his many service chevrons on the left sleeve.
The tunic is in good condition with a bit of damage to the collar. The breeches are in well, well, used condition.
Decorations are. Legion of Honor Grand Officer and Medal Militaire.

Grand Officer of the LdH is indicated by the breast star placement on the right breast with the wear of the LdH officer's badge on the left. Odd in my as the lower class is the neck badge and the higher is the breast star worn on the left breast.

3 star generals kepi

Here is a super 1900 era general's kepi for a 3 and 4 star general.

This cap show wear and age but is wonderful. Very nice in person.

I would like to be able to say it belonged to general Foch but I don't know who owned it so ...............

I have another kepi for a 2 star. It is a wondeful cap but I have to straighten the darn cap out before I show it. I have almost restored the caps shape and will post it when I have it looking good.
