I am not sure what the ribbons are, but they could very well be for the local volunteer firecorps, or local redcross etc.

Oh no, VERY Strange And Unusual. Parallel Universe stuff. Well, at least Canadian!

You know all the garbage German ribbon bars with the hand made brass hardware, "Classic Ohio Frauds" stuff?

The "British style" multi-rows, fully cloth backed reverse, and AMERICAN (?Canadian too?) WW2 vintage locking pin back ribbon bar hardware are dead giveaways for the industrious Canuck Crapmeister who sells-- quite successfully, incredibly enough -- constant streams of this sort of junk on eCrap, all "truthfully" described as "homemade." HIS home, last week, but, hey....

The devices are from Austrian Federal Provinces -- the one on yellow and black for Kärnten, the two silver and gold on the red and white ribbons for Oberösterreich. Whether ANY of them "go" on those ribbons is outside my knowledge...

but I really don't think an Anschluss and TWO ( ) Sudetens were authorized for Second Republic Wear in Austrian version of "M1957." !!!!!


In all the Forensics Of Fakery And Fraud, only TWO "Masters" have "styles" unique enough--and production prolific enough-- to be individually recognizable, no matter where on the globe their products turn up: "Ohio" and "Canada."
