Congratulations all bull for your nice pictures lot! Do you have names or places wrritten on the back? It could be helpful to discover the unit and name paratroopers.
For your insignia on the leather holder, it's a Sniper qualification badge. The rifle is a FRF1, the official issue sniper rifle in the french army from 1966 till 1989.
This badge awards Sniper graduates after the four weeks course (sniping and shooting skills, orientation, intelligence...).
