    Duck-hunter camo coveralls

These are a set of duck-hunter camo coveralls that have been stored since the '60s. Does anyone have any idea whether or not someone might be interested in using these in a display of Vietnam era camo as used by some branches or are only items actually used in-country considered kosher for such displays? Any thoughts on this appreciated.

This stuff is virtually impossible to link to early VN use....I have a set of Duck Hunter KAMO brand top and bottoms (with the WW2 style metal buttons w/stars on them), and these are hard to pin down as being sent to Nam....The coveralls you display (or similar ones) in this style turn up at second hand stores in my area on a somewhat regular basis...Bodes

Would be nice if you can find rank insignia or in country patches on these, but generally VN used hunting clothes don't have them....Bodes

I suppose the photographs of the early Advisors in camo that to an untrained eye appeared to be quite similar to the camo of the duck-hunter clothing is what confuses many, myself included. Over the years I have seen sportsman camo that I was sure was identical to WWII Army camo but looking back, I am sure it must not have been.
