Battle of the Falkland Islands Cap Tallies

Here are some very rare cap tallies for all five of the german ships sunk by the british at the battle of the falkland islands on Dec. 8, 1914. A huge loss of life for the germans with over 1800 men killed including Admiral Graf Maximillian von Spee.

Wonderful to see such designated and fine collection in seemingly superb condition.
I would like to comment the style of the Leipzig (bottom tally in the display) : this style of lettering with normally lower quality ribbon was usually used on reservist sticks and has so far not been observed on period photos in wear. However, imo still original as such as they were produced at the time!

This is a great collection. Very lovely. You always did a good job at framing and displaying. Well done.
To those that appreciate naval history, this is a great collection.
