German helmet help

Hi, I'm very new to the WW2 German helmet collecting, and it seems very much a minefield, anything baring insignia appears very expensive, so as a newbie I'm starting at the lower end, I recently have seen this for sale and wondered if anyone could give me an idea of its value to me as a new buyer.

It is listed as an M40 with original liner but repro strap, the camo looks winter style?

Does anyone have an idea on where it was assigned to by its production number? Q66 DN270

Not an Imperial helmet - it should be listed in the Wehrmacht section.

No need to waste your time posting on the J.B. Helmet Forum... It's a dud! The shell is original, so if you can get it for $50.00 you might want to pull the trigger, otherwise; save your hard earned money for something legit.
