Hello everyone, today for a lucky chance I found this Pickelhaube of Freiwillige Feuerwehr EICHHORN, but I do not know this type of helmet.
For this reason I ask you about when this helmet was used, why and from which troops?

I'm no expert, but I believe what you have is a fireman's helmet.

You would think being rarer than PH's they would be worth more, and would also depend on which town or city it came from

Yes you would think they would be worth more but they only appeal to Fire man collectors , I mean I would buy one if I saw one for $50 as they do look good but I wouldn't spend military collecting money on one . Rob
