"Waterloo" Pickelhaube emblem

I´d like to know if this is an original piece and since i don´t want to keep it, maybe someone can value this for me.
The last days i saw pickelhaube emblems on ebay sell between 30 and 620 euro..so a rough price for this this would be great.

It is from a later Hauptmann who served in 77. Infanterieregiment in world war 1.

Any informations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is the whole thing a complete fake or do you think it is possible that the Hauptmann created himself a remembrance piece from a normal wappen adding the waterloo sign?

Hello Sven,
I think a collector put it together.
1. Whatever was used to secure the lugs is the same material used to secure the bandeau, so they were done at the same time
2. That material looks like a modern "bondo" / epoxy to me...it's not solder

I'm not specialist of this kind of plate but for me there is no problem. Added Waterloo bandeau, soldered as the loops from the plate... What's wrong?
