    Saxon Officer Feldgrau Tunics

    Wie gehts

This hobby seems to be all about nuiances. Saxon officer M 1910 infantry tunics differ slightly from the other german states; green flecking in the boards, triangular rear flaps vs. scalloped rear flaps, piping along the bottom of the tunic skirt and, of course, the saxon cuff. Interestly (to me), there are even further differences on saxon infantry tunics. Here is a line infantry tunic for JR 106 and a guard infantry tunic for LGR 100.

    Regards

    Dave

Tunic cuffs. Line infantry with "saxon cuff" and guard infantry with "swedish cuff" with litzen and piping along the bottom of the cuff. Buttons for line infantry are in brass and saxon guard are in silver.

Very nice! I know how hard it is to find these Imperial Feldgraus, let alone Sachsen Feldgraus!
