I found several of these, and visor hats, when I was in Germany in the mid-70s....sold them all except this one. I decided that I wanted to keep one, and this is the one I chose to keep. I may have posted it before, but not these photos.....just wanted to see what you thought of the one I kept. I still want to keep it.

I think I got it at the Mainz fleamarket at the Dom.....don't know if they still have it there or not......I know the Frankfurt one moved up the street to the Schlachthof, and was not any good when I went back in 1987.....even though many of the old dealers remembered me. Times change.....unfortunately.

Nice, I'd love one of these. I missed out on buying one at a small country auction, the guy(s) bidding together wanted the lot (it came in a mixed box) more.

Thanks to all; however, you know it has been worn though. This was taken in 2002, the year I died 3 times in one day, while I was back home recovering right before I went back to work. This is my son, Robert, who is now soon to be 17.
