Visors Lacking Bottom Ring of Piping

Gents--
I only dabble in Imperial visors. These 2 popped up recently, and both lack a bottom ring of piping (one is on Ebay).

Before placing them into the fake category, I want to make sure:

I have opened a thread under ''artillery visor'' a few days ago with a cap that looks similar, apparently they might be vetrans caps, not much info out there on these. Pete.
