    Visor, Artillery?

    Just been checking certain Imperial websites to identify the branch, im thinking reserve artillery, my only question is why the white pippng on top of the cap band Pete.

    With that white piping, it is not an artillery visor. I don't recall any military caps with that piping combination. I would say there is a good chance that this cap is a non-military piece.

          I have one of these my research has them as "Prussian Train communications" it should have Crowned Reich eagle holding post horn and lightening bolts

            Veterans! Notice the Landwehrkokarde, I guess a Landwehrverein.

            We had many times before discussed this kind of cap.

              Picture of inside and cap cockade, seems to say Konig u Doterl, its very hard to make out, date below, 1813.

                        Thanks once again from the info i can fnd on these vets caps there are different colour piping, would my example be an artillery vetran?
