Knowing Rick unless he says its lacking it'll be ok I'm sure. take a look at this thread started by Floris I made up a cut price dummy for an example it's had a lot of visits and become cool for odds and ends.

It's been a while since I paid attention to the prices of ammo pouches but the one in the GWM catalog is a bit high. For one in that condition on eBay I'd expect something closer to $50. If you're patient you'll find much better examples on US, German, or French eBay. If you're really patient you'll eventually find two that are more or less matching in terms of construction and condition.

I can't put anything on the mannequin unless I get a better pouch then the one I have. I have two, one can be put on the belt but putting it on and removing it every time I want to add a piece to the belt will see the leather strap on my black one fall off.
This is why I need a better condition pouch.

I might have to reassess my off-the-cuff $50 estimate in my post below. I just noticed that a decent pair (matched dates/maker) sold for $260+ on eBay recently. Is it just me or do prices on good WWI stuff seem to be going up very rapidly? Could it be as simple as the looming centennial? Granted, real quality will always sell but I'm seeing even average items go for what only a few years ago would have been "crazy" prices. I'm really glad I started collecting WWI German 20 years ago!
