Being inspired by the recent field gear posts - thanks guys!- I thought perhaps we could start a canteen and messkit field gear parade... Would love to see more when you get the time

Cups are:

Alum.Metallw.Fabr. 12 - Wupperman 17 - F.C.B Fulda 17 - Ed.L.16

hello,here are the messkits in my collection, y begin whit my "silesia" al are from 18 only one is dated 17, the two cups are also silesia ,one 16 and one 17, y am still looking for a 18 ,

I just love the shades of Feldgrau on these late enameled Messkits & cups!
Say, is that BING 18 cup a 2 or more piece construction?
My AMBOS 18 (Dresden) Messkit is made from a couple of pieces welded/soldered together...
Not much Feldgrau left on it - looks like the exterior only ever had a very light wash of paint
- outside was never enameled, inside is enameled though in a dark blue/almost purple...
