With a number that low, there are multiple possibilities for these straps. The photos are not close enough for one to be able to discern if they are just rather poorly made private purchase pieces or something else. They are definitely not issue examples.

Hi Shawn,
Thanks for the better photos. Unfortunately, they don't tell that much more. The piping is made from an odd woven cord, the numbers are very loosely stitched and the button hole stitching is strange too. So, I would say (without the benefit of seeing them in person) that they are either private purchase pieces of a very mediocre quality or reenactor's copies.

Two things worry me:-
1. The button holes are not 'key-hole' shape. To me, that is not indicative of period manufacture;
2. The way the waffenfarbe is attached to the edge of the body of the shoulderboards (as depicted in post #4). It appears sloppy.
