Nice Boots that show up periodically discribed as W1 which they are not imo.

I agree with Eric. Side seam boots continued to be made in the WWII period. The details on this set that indicate a post WWI manufacture are the rounded toes (not a positive sign by themselves), the toe plates and the stamp on the inside. Though these would work well for a display, I think they were actually made many years after 1918.
