SB 5(Rohr) Tunic Label

Can someone give me an opinion on this Sturmbataillon 5 (Rohr) uniform label? It's rather an oddball thing, and as uniforms are not my area, I'd like some help.

Well, it has the shape of a shoulder strap and in the colors of the pioneers. What makes you think it is a uniform label? It looks interesting, but I'd hesitate to guess what it's purpose was.

I am only quoting the dealer who says it's a uniform label. I don't honestly know if that's correct or not.

The logo is the correct SB 5 logo; the same as seen on the series of SB 5 postcards.

If it's not a label, what else could it be, I wonder?

Might it be a kind of "Vivat-Band" or a book-mark/reading-sign ?

It is described as "Etikett,Einnäher für Rock,Einheitskennung".

Any ideas?

I'm interested in it. But, I'd like to know what it is. It's also somewhat pricey at 29 Euros for a bit of small cloth, despite its SB 5 reference.
