    Nice unit marked Saxon buckle!

    Hi,
    Just picked this nice and uncommon fieldgrey Sächsische M15 belt buckle, unit marked for the 12. Sächsische Feldartillerie Regiment

    Also nicely makers marked: G.H. Osang, Dresden 1915

          Nice buckle! It could come from one of two regiments, either the Kgl. Sächs. 1. Feld-Artillerie-Regt. Nr.12 or Kgl. Sächs. 1. Fußartillerie-Regt. Nr.12. Unfortunately, in both instances, artillery regiments that bear the Nr. 12 are both Saxon.

          Or, in a unit marking does a solitary "A" indicate Feldartillerie?

            Thanks for the replies!

            As far as I have been able to research, the unit marking "A" were used by the
            Feldartillerie and "A.F" were used by the Fußartillerie
