Firemans helmet plate identification

Bought this one yesterday has the red white and black roundels on sides of helmet and this firemans crest. Is it specific to a certain area?

Hi,

please describe the colours; red - white - black is Imperial; Black- White -Black is Prussian.

Nice helmet by the way;

Also the Droste effect is funny;
