Damn I lost! I knew someone was going to bid like 2 grand so it was really about as useless as making a bid for Stalingrad

I bet someone placed a 3,000 dollar bid and I never had a chance. Fact I bet no one on WAF won it.

doesn't mean a WAF member didn't win it. And, no it wasn't me.

You've been way too lucky of late to have won this one LOL I would have never believed you.
I could have bid more but I recall a camo square dip that was only 2700 dollars two years ago. The price was getting out of bounds for an m18. The one I won for 1300 has a much better condition liner and whie not the same pattern just as nice. This wow them pattern was sure to bring in more money then normal.

What did you think of the latest Ebayer M16 camo's offering that sold for 1,150 yeaterday?

And did you see this one on bay state?

M16Camo's selling price seemed fair. It looks good to me. I remember commenting last year, or the year before about how the value of good WWI German camo's is going to skyrocket. Well, get em while you can because IMO it's going to keep moving up.

I saw that splotch pattern camo on Scott's site. I would have needed better pics on it before I pulled the trigger. I must say, I do like it though.

Thanks, man thats a cracking lid, I must check the WW2 section on ebay more often.

Wonder if it would have made more if listed in the WW1 German section.

Since I was the runner up I doubt it. I never did a search of WWII helmets I got an email up date that tipped me off. I think all the WWI guys found it in time to bid.

I cant stand it anymore. It took me two months to figure out what IMO meant.
                          What,s LOL???

But why do you post an item or helmet you really want, before the auction close? Advertising it further.
Maybe if you had,nt you,d of won it!

I did not post the auction link. Posted the helmet. Why? Sales add stated it was re painted. I did not believe it but never know for the amount it might sell at. I knew if it was bad someone would have said something and I could have avoided it.

I also looked up Ebay bidding strategy before the auction ended. The auction only proves once again the high end items go to those with the money.
