I think Zahlmeister had blue piping?

White piping? Nickel buttons. Short rounded tip collar (Stehkragen)
      Dragoon Waffenrock M1908.

        Zahlmeister

        Paul,

he is deinitely an official. He holds the rank of Rechnungsrat (note the plaited centre of the shoulder boards). THe piping is very light so in all likelihood either an Oberzahlmeister (white piping) or perhaps a Proviantamtsdirektor or Proviantmeister with the title of Rechnungsrat (yellow piping).

        Regards
        Glenn

Glenn, Thanks for the confirmation. The pic is of Zahlmeister Bergmann. I have not been able to find a first name for him. But along with the picture of him I have this......

            Bergmann

            Paul

Then presumably Hermann Friedrich Bergmann, EK2 as a Zahlmeister with I.R. 66.

            Zahlmeister: 28.3.68

            Regards
            Glenn

Now that's just cool. What could be better than owning not only the medal bar, but also a picture of the recipient wearing it?
