If there is an interest in period catalogues, a friend has published a reprint of two German catalogues from the 1910-1914 period, the title is "Neumann & Müller, Imperial German Military Catalogues"
It is a great reference to the time.

                            Very interesting list.

Didn't expect to see that the Tschapkas were only made on demand, and strictly POR no less! How much more expensive could they have been relative to the other helmets?

Given that one dollar was worth roughly 5 Marks in 1915, and one 1915 dollar had the same purchasing power as over 20 dollars today, these prices look fairly reasonable by today's standards. For instance, the basic opossum fur Pelzmuetze was available for only about $300 (of today's dollars), while the bear skin version sold for just half as much. I guess fur and skilled labor were a lot cheaper back then, even when inflation is taken into account...

This is all very excellent! There are parts of this book that are quite detailed. It is relatively inexpensive.
