boards?

Hello,

these boards should be from the Kgl. Bayerischen IR. 15 and 17.
I am not really familiar with WW1 uniforms. Why are they so different in size?
Can you see it is bavarian because of the blue threads?

Well, for one thing, they are different ranks. They are also different patterns. Both are Bavarian, as you have said. But blue threads do not always indicate that a board is Bavarian. All Beamten had blue threads on their boards as well, regardless of the state they are from.

The captain is for M/10 Tunic
The major is for M/15 Tunic /Einheitsfeldbluse für Offiziere)
Others, before M/10 Time are Red, not white. Has Cypers and no numbers.
