    Saxon 'lean forward' shako

    Would appreciate feedback re this shako, fellas. Seems the chinscales are repro by the new-looking leather backing.
    And the saxon device looks like ... Sheet metal steel from the fotos.
    See any other restoration signs?
    Seller thought this was from wwi but i doubt these old 'uns were still being worn then... ?
    Anway, i think a rare item. Hazard a guess as to worth?
