    German trumpet banners?

Those came with a regimental stein, and a "spear", marked to bavarian ulans. At first I thought those banners could be french war-souvenirs, but maybee there are german / bavarian, too?

They sure look French to me. The horns, the "RI" are typical French.

All three look French to me. Upper left for an infantry regiment, upper right for Colonial infantry, bottom has a 2nd Empire (Napoleon III) crown, appears for a Chasseurs a' Cheval regiment.

Thanks - could you tell me from what period, and do they have a value?

A bit hard to say regarding value. The infantry banner appears the newest, then the Colonial Infantry. If the Chasseurs a'Cheval is real, it's in great shape, considering that they were not made after 1870!
I would try Ebay France, perhaps the best market for French items. Check if any similiar items are for sale.

Thanks Bob - like said, they came with some bavarian Ulan stuff, so there is a chance he had taken those as souveniers.

Funny BTW, that I posted them 1st in the international forum, as I thought from the beginning they are french - no responge.

Now posted in the "wrong forum"....
