M16 Battle Damaged Camo

2010 is off to a good start. After many years of collecting WWI and earlier USMC, and, WWI German headgear, I'm going to focus only on German headgear this year. This helmet was brought back by a Marine named Reid who served with the 6th Marines in WWI. It was passed by him to a neighbor in 1967. I think the devildog may have spit-shined it once or twice.
