I have just bought this and am very happy with it as been after a good ww1 camo for a while its been on helmet forum but thought i would post on here,are chinstraps hard to come by for these and what should i be paying for one ? cheers Dave

This helmet is worth commenting on a 2nd time! Love it.

I think I've seen original straps on eBay. And I think they cost about the same at the WW2 counterparts ($150?).

I like it a lot. Nice helmet. WWI chin straps are harder to coe by. If you see a one look WWI chin strap that leaves you with no questions with good photos collectors will force you to pay 300 and up.

The ones selling for 150 on ebay are questionable and the photos are poor. You can get lucky or get burned that way.
